Spreading our Passion for Cars and Trucks
Cars have always been a passion.
As a teenager I was heavily into cars and never saw them as something I didnt want to modify. I had several by the age of 18 when I entered the Navy. I spent 20 yrs in the Navy working on Helicopters and learning new skills and techniques beyond just bolting on parts from a catalog. I also got into fabrication during my time in the service. I found I liked to work with my hands to create, or build.
During my last enlistment in the Navy, I became an instructor. I turned that career into my full time day job of an Corporate Jet instructor which I still do to this day. I also found I had started building Buttercup (our yellow 72 Chevelle), and I had made her into something very unique. I found pleasure in pushing my boudries with hot rods. I did another (the black/silver 55 Chevy), and found I loved the diversity of that build.
In 2017 we obtained our business license and started STS Creations. We also started two long term STS shop projects (Bluebell and the 57 Chevy truck build named Wild Cherry). In 2018 we were accepted to SEMA and became SEMA.Org members.
We build cars in our evenings, and on weekends. This is not what we do to make a living. This is purely what we do to fuel our passion. We feel keeping it as our passion enables us to direct our thoughts soley on the car and not finishing the car to ensure the bills are paid.
We do have future plans to grow, but for now we feel its best to provide the individual attention each car owner would want for his car.
Its about Quality vs. Quantity here at STS Creations.
I've never met a car I didn't like.
I just havent ever seen a car I wouldnt change at least one thing on. Each car should reflect the owner's taste, but during a build the car will start to display what "it" wants.
Cars are not just cars. They become a display of the owner's personality when the car and the owners are together. We all become someone else we get behind the wheel. Let us help you and your car find who you will become.
We don't do all this work just to let my cars stay in the garage! Our owners drive their cars. If you're interested in seeing the work in person, keep an eye out at classic car shows near you. Or contact us and we can tell you the location you may find each one in. They are not all local to STS Creations. Very proud to say that..
